Topical Article Collections From The American Rifleman Magazine CDs
M16 Manuals & Data and US Small Arms TMs CDs

The following topical CDs are  available for private non-commercial research or historical use directly from me.  All articles are scanned at 150 dpi and are printable.  They are in full size pdf page image (non-editable) format (in color when applicable) and there is a date sorted title index with authors listed in html format on each CD that is used to access the articles via your browser.

Now available!  American Rifleman Index CD.
This CD contains the year end indexes for the American Rifleman magazine from 1940 through 2023 as pdf files.  

These files are straight Adobe PDF, 200 dpi scans and have not been OCR'd due to the great amount of labor and proofing needed to create accurate, searchable files, from muti-column data and the CD would have cost close to $100.  They are however, printable.    If you have high end OCR software and a scanner and the time to OCR and proof the files, and are interested in this project contact me at frfrog@centurylink.net.

For purchasers of this CD I will add indexes to the CD each year, and will provide a pdf copy of the new indexes to purchasers of this CD, via email, upon request and proof of purchase.  Alternately, a complete new CD will be provided for $10.50 upon proof of purchase.

Please note that some of the 1940s issues never had a comprehensive year end index included.  There has been occasional mention that such indexes were available by mail at the time but the NRA currently seems to have no knowledge of them.  In these cases the "index file" for the year is compiled from the 12 monthly magazine indexes of the individual issues for that year. 
 

The cost is $25 which includes 1st Class postage.

Overseas Orders

I will no longer do overseas orders unless they are paid in US dollars by cash or Western Union transfer.  I have been ripped off by two overseas orders, totaling over US$200,  that were paid by a bogus check or who cancelled a PayPal payment.   Sorry for the inconvenience, but a few ruined it for everyone
